Hurricane Isaac is turning into a scary reminder of Hurricane Katrina which rocked the Gulf Coast within a week of when Isaac is scheduled to hit.
Isaac is currently scheduled to be a category 1 hurricane. Will Hurricane Isaac become much more than that once warm air and humid gulf breezes enter the mix? Category one is the lightest compared to a category five.
One thing is for sure New Orleans will not let another Hurricane Katrina happen. Buses and shuttles have already been arranged in the case of an emergency evacuation. Houston hopes these buses aren't headed towards them, because post-Katrina gang violence and general violence drastically increased when New Orleans hurricane victims visited Texas.

Neil Armstrong is dead at 82. The first man on the moon was found dead Saturday August 25.
Neil Armstrong was the man who said "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind", when he stepped on the moon in 1969. He underwent heart surgery earlier this year an died after complications related to his heart treatment.
Conspiracy theorists claim the government killed Neil Armstrong to protect the secret of a fake moon landing.
Obama is scheduled to make a presidential statement later tonight.

A Norwegian package dated from 1912 was opened this morning 4:00 GMT [11:30am CMT U.S.A.] in Norway. The package was left by Otta's mayor, Johan Nygaard, 100 years ago with instructions to be opened in 2012. 2012 would not have disappointed Mr. Nygaard as hundreds were in attendance and the opening was lead by a women who was world-renowned for kayaking.
VGTV.no streamed this historical package opening and was astonished at the rate of viewers who tuned in, which caused their stream to crash occasionally.
The package held another package, which in turn held another package.
After much dancing and singing, as the Norwegians played for the crowd the songs and dances of their people, the package was opened. Spectators heard a women say their was a newspaper from 1919 inside the unopened package. This was confusing since the package should of been unopened since 1912.
The package also included documents and king's clothes.
There was also much coughing in the background, which made some wonder if the package also contained smallpox or the virus which will begin the zombie apocalypse.
A "resume" of the entirety of the packages contents will be revealed later tonight.

A shooting in New York has left two dead and more than half a dozen civilians wounded. The shooter was put down by police. Some of those wounded are believed to have been wounded during the shootout, by police bullets.
The shooter is suspected to be Jeffrey Johnson, who worked at Hazan Imports. Johnson shot his 41 year old co-worker before being taken down by police.
The shooting happened near the Empire State building and resulted in innocent by standers being wounded by stray bullets.

Lance Armstrong used performance enhancing supplements to win the Tour de France, all seven times. Armstrong stated "There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, 'Enough is enough.' For me, that time is now." He refuses to answer any more questions on this subject.
Armstrong's manager, Johan Bruyneel, has yet to comment or defend his client.

Anders Behring Breivik was sentenced to 21 years in prison with a mandatory amount of 10 years. Will this killer every see freedom again?

Breivik was ruled to be sane by the Olso court and sentenced to 21 years in prison. That comes out to roughly 3 months behind bars for every one of his victims. By the court declaring him sane, he will not spend his entire life behind bars.
Additionally, Norway does not have the death penalty.

Cecilia Gimenez, a parishioner of Spain's Sanctuary of Mercy Church, decided to paint and revitalize the ancient fresoe painting by Elias Garcia Martinez.
Her lack of skill is apparent in the comparison of the photo's, however, the true genius of her work has yet to be appreciated.
Fresco's are incredibly difficult to paint on and renovate. The lime plaster makes changes to pigments incredibly difficult. It is a good thing Mrs. Gimenez wasn't told this, because after divine inspiration from what appears to be Mr. Bean, the elderly Gimenez justified her work by stating "Everybody who came into the church could see I was painting."

That's right Mitt Romney has chosen Paul Ryan to be his vice president. Crowds gathered to watch Mitt introduce Paul Ryan as the next president of the United States. Oops, Romney meant Vice President?
