Racist Aunt Jemima? Syrup ds tell of a hidden past

Known for delicious artificial maple syrups, advertisements published by Aunt Jemima's syrup have come into controversy over their racist nature.

Is racism ever acceptable? Even if society accepted racism as they did decades ago, shouldn't the consumer be fighting against companies who lacked the moral fiber to say "no" to hate mongering. Maybe it isn't their fault and the ads by Aunt Jemima were simply to appeal to more customers as all marketers aim to do. Regardless, I would like to see an Abraham Lincoln maple syrup versus a racist one, simply because of the taste. Aunt Jemima racist maple syrup?
